Since so many of them don’t like their non-folding mono-eyelids, and many are using surgery to correct it to a folding double crease-type eyelid (which is a dominant allele), do you think they’ll soon be having commercialized genetic engineering to genetically alter their eyelids? Yes or no? What do you think?

Anyone familiar with the terms ULZZANG and UHJJANG?

Well I was just wondering. They’re actually asians who have become famous just for being incredibly attractive. Although in my opinion most of the girls (ulzzang) look creepy since it’s all pretty much plastic surgery. You should see the eyes on those girls! Pretty much they get eyelid surgery and wear black contacts. Anyways, just wanted your opinion on them..since I think it’s pathetic and creepy.

How do i not sound shallow about my oriental features?

I have the typical asian or korean eyes. No double eyelid and in about a year I’m getting the double eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty. I’m very open about it. But when i tell them I want it they ask me why I want to look more westernized or ‘white’. I used to tell them that I only got them because it was a lacking. Everyone had it but me. I told them its as common as braces in korea but they still won’t understand and they just think I’m shallow. how do i explain it to them?

A friend of mine told me that for a teenage korean girl, she may receive money to get plastic surgery for her birthday. She said its common. None of us are korean. We’re chinese/vietnamese. I noticed that whenever i watch a korean drama and i search them up on the net, it always says they’ve had a nosejob, eyelid surgery, or whatever. Not once have I found a korean actress with a tall nose and large, double-eyelids not have plastic surgery.

What do you think of this? I know plastic surgery occurs in other countries but it seems soo normal to get plastic surgery in korea. They seem so obsessed with their facial features and are badly influenced by their own society. Kids even kid these surgery (I heard from this person who visited korea)

I’m only 16 and I find think its kind sick that girls my age or younger would have had at least one plastic surgery already in korea. Not that I would.. i was born with natural large eyes for an asian..i didnt realised i was blessed until recently.

I’M NOT SAYING ALL, but the MAJORITY.

Can I be put to sleep for chalazion surgery?

I have to get a chalazion removed from my left eye, one on the bottom and one on the top and i’ve been looking up the procedure and it sounds really painful, not to mention having to get a needle in my eyelid. I hateee needles and would rather just be put to sleep for the surgery…is that possible?

How old do you have to be to get unnessary surgery?

I’m 14 and i REALLY want to get laser eye surgery and double eyelid surgery, for obvious reasons. How old do you have to be to get those two surgeries? I know most surgeries require the patient to be 18 years old but what if I have parents consent and stuff like that. Would I still be able to get it?
Oh, and any comments about laser eyes surgery/double eyelid surgery? Advice? etc? that would be helpful.
