How is your skin after a Microdermabrasion Crystal Peel or a Diamon Peel? Which one is better?

I’m getting a facial tomorrow and I’m not sure which to pick. Crystal or Diamond. I know they are similar but I want to know others opinions if they have done it before. My face is combination-oily and has minor acne.
Also, how will my skin look about an hour after the treatment? I have to go into work. Will I be able to touch, wash, apply make up to my face right after the procedure?

  1. NO! Every kind of peel takes off the primary layer of your skin. Your skin will look red and irritated. It will be very sensitive to the touch and you will not be able to wash it. Good luck.
    P.S. The episode of "Sex and the City" where Carrie has her book party will give you an idea of how it will look. (Samantha looks horrible)

  2. I personally have never had one, but I think the previous poster is confusing Microdermabrasion with a laser or gycolic peel. With Mircroderm you have to avoid the sun, but I think you will just looked a bit pink afterwards.
