Chemical Peel? Normal?!?

I had a light-moderate chemical peel done 4 days ago. The aesthetician told me that it is was a ‘minor’ procedure and I should only have some slight flaking of my skin over the next few days. She was right for the most part, but my forehead has a sort of strange shiny, ‘tight’ look unlike the rest of my face. I’m also breaking out a bit in this area. Is this because that area is naturally oilier than the rest of my face and responded differently to the chemicals? If so, when can I expect it to go back to normal? Argh.
