Breast-Lift

I am an RN in a small hospital; would our medical director/(a cosmetic MD) negotiate w/me on some surgery? ?

I am an RN at a small hospital; our medical director is a cosmetic surgeon. He has recently done some cosmetic work on some other nurses at the hospital. I also want to have some work done, and went for a consultation. I felt his estimate was a bit high, and would like to try to negotiate a lower price. While I do not want to insult him, I do think I can get a better deal. I want a breast lift/reduction, mini tummy tuck, and little bit of lipo on the flanks. Total cost at the office would be $9,800 per his estimate. I think that’s too high and want to pay about $6,800 for everything. I have drafted a note for the "negotiation" to him, but wonder if this would be too insulting or make him angry? I know they go through a lot of training, etc.., etc.., ..but that is still a good payday for him, even with my proposed lower fees. I am in great health, have had a few other "procedures" done before, and think this surgeon is skilled and he is board certified, experienced, etc. So, what do you think?
